ERTEX is an annual exercise that PERCS (Provincial Emergency Radio Coordination Service) organizes within the province of British Columbia that simulates an emergency situation with other EOC (Emergency Operation Centre’s) and PREOC (Provincial Regional Emergency Operation Centre’s) radio rooms.

The goal of this exercise is to place participating radio rooms into a realistic emergency situation where they will need to activate their radio rooms and perform the activities and workflows that are needed to respond to an active emergency.

ERTEX 2025 will be occurring on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 0900 – 1300 local time followed by a Hotwash.
